How does poetry work in sign language?

me (a sign language interpreter) poetry 1 of hardest things translate, because poems can interpreted in many different ways. such it's interpreter decide how translate it. in case, translate poems must prepared.
phonetic rhymes doesn't have same effect in sign languages in spoken languages. signs can rhyme, if alike. there danish children's book in sign language, called "blæksprutter prutter" means "squids fart", , 2 signs rhyme in (danish) sign language. book has rhymes such "mom , dad says it's forbidden pee on carrots". signs in sentence made index finger, that's why rhymes.
poetry adults it's more making signs 'flow' beautifully , tell story that, visual. can't write poetry in sign language myself, have seen , i'm impressed.
translating poetry in sign language spoken language never give same experience, watching spoken poem translated sign language won't same experience, in opinion.
it's hard explain, hope idea how works.
