Why do they build new bank buildings when banking has become increasingly computerized?

banks use buildings in same way hardware store uses building. bank accepts deposits selling services: financial planning, stock investing, bond sales, treasury bond sales, trust accounts.
once in door 1 service, can sell other services.
correct future of retail banking seems bleak.

i have noticed many bank buildings being built. in business classes, discuss fact banking (like many other services) being computerized. seems waste of money/space. have hypothesis or, better yet, work in industry , know answer?

thank you
