Why do people think that letting the insurance industry sell across state lines is a good thing?

-

argument against selling insurance policies across state lines,

each state should able set own rules, on insurance companies must offer in insurance plans sold in state.

medicare, medicaid don't that, public option doesn't that, health insurance exchanges not that.

more people in insurance plan, more cost spread, meaning lower rates.

it benefit insurance industry.
