What would you say were important things to know about theater?

theatre major , actor , director now. need spend time on this. website should prove helpful. http://www.theatrehistory.com/ have been many plays? suggest go see few in community, not school productions. small local theatre companies , see if can volunteer usher, well.

also, ask director of program trying involved if there study guide recomend.

each year our school has 1 - act competition students direct, become director have take test on theater. in order pass, information theater - famous plays, directors, theater terms, etc... i'd pass please help!!!
