My dad is making me apply to UCLA but I really don't want to?

grades... rather suck. have 3.3 gpa, unweighted. it's end of junior year, , beginning of agonizing college process. dad wants me apply ucla (as design/visual communications major) don't want to. in first place, design/visual communications major centered around digital art , don't know how use tablet well; i'm more of traditional illustrator. learn how digitally, doubt can attain technical experience need enough. and, spare myself embarrasment of applying because know rejected. have rather meagre curriculars , volunteer work, , play no sports. i'm taking 3 ap classes year, haven't done terrific in of them, have b's in three. go tough private prep school, it's not matters since bet ucla gets loads of terrific apps students similar schools. i'm going rejected , dad dissapointed , rot, how convince him let me not apply?
