I have a unusual car audio problem I need help with?
question pertaining car audio amplifier have bridged 2 kicker sub woofers. 1 day realized system didn't have of kick usual. faded equalizer on head unit , discovered when faded left sub woofers cut out. later determined left rca input on amp dead. seeing how got great deal on amp , knew hard replace decided open , take look. not electrician or did see resistor on inside of amp blown. best guess on problem. replaced resistor. problem not sure on resistor there. make out 1 color strip on it. replaced larger resistor there. know got gold strip @ bottom correct though because band knew sure. put amp , sounded great. amp didn't light anymore. didn't care that. after while noticed signal still go in , out. problem not fixed. , unusual part...the 1 day driving around. faded head unit left , no subs playing. decided crank volume 15 , of sudden started hear subs kick in...not @ full volume there. turned volume 20 , boom, subs kicked in full power , had turn down. turned volume down , put fade 0 , system sounded fine again. sometime when turn car on both left , right subs working (not though), time left not working , have fade left , turn real loud sub kick in. ideas on problem be? have resistor put in? or resistor never problem begin , else going on? sorry lengthy question. appreciated.
