How many colour prints can a printer do?

really, varies on machine you're using.

machines have calibration option can keep colours consistent , in check whatever original factory default was. if keep inks new , replace them wear out, you'll consistent had.

however, many cheaper printers aren't call "quality based". they're fill quick niche of "print stuff quick" , won't go mile if you're using on day day basis.

ideally, if you're looking print consistency, cheap inkjets give 500-1000 sheets before borking on you. laser printers give better more consistent quality higher price, , calibrating them push them on 10,000 sheets easily. depends on price range , it.
