Why is modern poetry so different from traditional poetry?

don't have abandon traditional forms of poetry.....a written sonnet beautiful behold. used write in rhyme, , exact metre , comply rules of say, villanelle, or quatrain etc.

but, tend write using inner rhythmic voice, using slant rhymes, internal rhymes or whatever....and freedom of wonderful. feels far more creative when write before forced concentrate more on form content.

can write both ways....and if wish use traditional forms - so, i'm sure please lots of people if do.

and how come can't write traditional type poems did in old days. how come have write else in modern ways?
