Should i commute to college or move to off campus housing with my bf?

commute college 3 days week. it's 30 minute drive. live @ home, along family part, , happy besides not having of social life or friends. reason why thinking moving close college, make friends. have social anxiety, transition wouldn't easy, might benefit branch out more, though i'm not of people person. however, it's expensive investment, cost 2500 semester. off campus housing block university, i'm afraid i'll regret moving there. (and got sign lease)
