Does vehicle modifications raise insurance?

if tell insurance company. depending on initial cost , value of items.
engine swaps raise insurance costs.

that's not stock raise insurance cost because it's not oem , availability of replacement parts unreliable.

but, if don't report things such engine swap, , accident, involving vehicle, insurance company try best not pay (and away it). , if happens become 100% liable. because engine not offered in car in question making policy void vehicle.

things new wheels, body kits, engine swaps , etc.
modifications raise insurance?
