Any other ancient languages?
of course, hundreds of them. in italy alone @ same time latin spoken, had languages such hernican, messapic, oscan, umbrian, maurocinian, rhaetic, ligurian, venetic, volscian, north picene, south picene, etc, etc. in greece had several greek dialects such doric, ionic, myceneaen. in ageaen islands had minoan, lemnian, etruscan. in turkey had hittite, kaskian, carian, phrygian, mysian, luwian, lycian, lydian, etc. other regions of europe included illyrian in baltic states. in iberian peninsula of spain , portugal had tartessian, iberian, aquitanian, etc. in scotland had pictish. contrary aida says of these languages still studied scholars today. furthermore, pre-roman languages of spain belong either celtic in case of tartessian or linguistic isolate in case of iberian. iberian known show affinities basque aquitanian. etruscan understood well.
are there other old european languages beside latin or greek?
