Why do government programs exist for things we KNOW can be done on an individual level?
i'm 17 might little naive this. i'm wondering why things can done on individual or private level medical care, education , social protection run government? isn't inefficient , risky?
i'm not dissing seniors have medicare, worked unsustainable. of profits being used further government spending , program run on deficit. if never had program, families tight knit. our society have encourage kids in school, go college , job in order take care of parents. that's why kids have more drive in countries india , china. know responsibility take care of parents , not government , tax payers.also, people more encouraged invest or save future. cuts medicaid , social security wouldn't poor, but encourage them strive better future. long welfare enough people become dependent on it, there won't motivation people themselves.
education story. isn't more efficient privatize? college prep high school attend partly funded large private corporations , partly government sustainable.when tax dollars going toward failing schools, we're better off privatizing. if parents have pay kid going school, more reasons expect more out of youth. since our society lack's immediate sense of dependency on next generation, might explain our high divorce rates.
basically, logic there these unsustainable programs? cutting of these programs , making individuals families accountable own future make country stronger , not "welfare republic". plus government become smaller , less influence. collected taxes can used things can't done individually or privately maintaining strong military, space exploration, conducting large scale research , providing law enforcement, emergency services , disaster relief.
overall better off without large entitlement programs?
