What would be the best camera to start my new hobby of photography?

start out compact digital camera. can shoot while , decide whether love or hate it. don't spend lot of money buying dslr find out not you. on other hand, if don't photography hobby , have compact, can still enjoy shooting pics of , friends , aren't out several hundred dollars.

have few choices when comes compact:

simple basic point , shoot camera-you select scene mode , press shutter button-that's

advanced point , shoot-these have aperture , shutter priority give more control of how final image still compact

bridge camera-this larger camera still smaller dslr , has aperture , shutter priority, , has hot shoe can use external flash, , has more advanced features othe compact

speaking, more advanced camera more expensive be. bridge cameras cost $1000-more twice cost of cheapest dslr.

can go dpreview.com see reviews on cameras or use buying guides. might try finding used camera on craigslist. can more less money way.

i trying new around guy, , want try photography, best camera beginner?
