How many miles to the gallon does a 1983 Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo get?

best engine mercedes ever built in opinion. have come our shop on 400k. have 1 has 536k on , odometer stopped working 4 or 5 years ago. not sure how many mile get. have change oil every 3000 , fuel filters , adjust valves every 15,000 miles , service trans ever 30,000. take shop make sure there no rust under great car. ask transmission. 182k , never been replaced means might putting on in it. depends on how previous owner took care of it.

i found mercedes on 182,000 miles on it. good? said ran , ive heard diesels last forever. should it?
