Why is composition important in art?

composition arrangement . how artist arranges subject

, other elements decides on whether or not painting pleasing.

wrong stick subject in middle of painting if right

1 side. artist must see painting in or mind's eye. painting composition

balance. there painters make sketch before paint. other

elements in painting should coax eye focal point. there basic rules

follow when comes painting composition. neither should elements neat ,

orderly. when portrait or landscape painting, if compare cultivated hedge wild

bush becomes obvious. wild bush has varying lengths of foliage , unusual shape.

wild bush looks lot more interesting cultivated hedge. when comes

painting there should variety. painting must appear spontaneous.

painting should never rigid. should draw viewer in naturally. lastly,

word on painting composition. keep elements in painting away each other.

overlapping stops viewer taking in painting whole. complete

painting composition speaks viewer. happens less in portrait ,

landscape paintings , more if abstract painting. more paint

more able decide , implement painting

is composition arrangements of visual element?
why work of art want or need focal point?
