Why are aircraft not tear drop shaped?

moving through air , moving through water 2 different things ..
.. , aircraft have generate called 'lift' (needed can fly) ... need @ least parts 'airfoil' shaped ...

instinct correct - see b2 & other 'flying wings'

i'm pretty sure shape areodynamic know cargo ships , use shape on front of ships underwater. why arn't planes shaped same way? don't see big difference between water fluid , air fluid.
