Is it easier to get into college for performing arts?

in hypothetical situation. have average grades (maybe 2.6 gpa on 4 point scale) , gets sat score that's above average. think colleges specialize in performing arts tad bit more lenient when comes academics since of focus should on talent right? if please give me insight on this. i'm high school sophomore , school starting bug college. , since major right theatre. wondering. thanks
