Best camera for photography?

if you're starting new interest, it's better inexpensive 1 until form better idea of kind of photography like. although i've more heavyweight backup camera, lately i've exclusively used compact camera - fuji a850 ( http://fujifilm.co.uk/consumer/digital/digital-cameras/fun-and-easy/product-130118 ) versatile , straightforward. there number of small cameras similar, if not better, specifications.

photoshop *is* complicated, , expensive. basic editing, try google's picasa, has advantage organises photos in searchable album.

ps think other posters suggesting unnecessarily expensive cameras. unless you're rich , cost no object, it's complete overkill dslr @ stage. compacts these days, , excellent developing skill @ composition.

pps giggles: not me. because have budget, there's no reason spend right if it's unnecessary.

i'm taking new interest photography, i'm not familiar cameras. recommend buy ? has under $1,000.00
& picture editing program think best me download or buy. heard photoshop complicated.
