Is it possible to paddle a boat with one oar?


since ar talking (i guess) row boat, not kayak or canoe, right word "row" boat, not paddle it. and, of course can row 1 oar. don't row off beams 2 oars, row off stern. called "sculling" how 1 oared gondolas in venice propelled. there hundreds of places done time, particularly in shallow waters light currents. native fisherman bahamas gulf of aden can row fine, 1 oar on transom.
