How would you write a thesis statement on the government bailing out companies and banks?

why should?

save economy collapse

keep industries total failure causing domino affect.

ensure aig ceo's can continue support multi million dollar annual bonuses driving major company ground.

keep workers employed otherwise let go when company collapses.


why shouldn't

allow companies declare bankruptcy , reorganize without putting taxpayer dollars @ risk (which happened anyway after giving them bailout, think gm)

bailouts using tax dollars serves increase national debt causing further devaluation of dollar , inflation.

government intervention private sector not sound method preserve capitalism , free market.

few thought of show how go both sides or meet in middle somewhere , thesis , write points support.

ie.

united states government has intervened in appeared financial collapses of many industries blah blah blah.........the united states government should intervene in these cases reasons while many others seem genuine concerns why should not. while protecting employees , unemployment rate reasons intervention save taxpayers money allowing companies reorganize under chapter 11 while @ same time keeping ceo's abusing financial power taxpayer dollars did own capital begin with.

that's rough there 3 angles go workers thing keeping out of business letting them drown on own through bankruptcy court , keeping taxpayer dollars safe same internal mismanagement , possible corruption got company in situation begin with.
