i'm unclear you're asking for.

if trying want able take great photos... sign class , start working on basics. don't go "self-taught" route. particular path seems waltz past basics, make short stop in "buy dslr" land, , end in "call professional photographer"-ville. take classes. seriously. when do, laugh @ pathetic quality of 99% of "self-taught" photographers out there.

if trying want print/display/buy/own great photos... recommend searching flickr types of photography want have printed. when find photo like, contact person owns copyright , ask politely if send high-res copy print. imagine many people on flickr give high-res images free, provided you're not trying sell them own work or anything.
