Thoughts on this idea for a fighter aircraft?

possible have sort of door directly on top of each engine open , let of jet blast produce thrust in whole different direction? make jet more maneuverable right? if jet wants have greater turn of thrust coming both engines diverted , shot directly out of engine vertically. door open right before nozzles on each engine on aircraft , thrust push jets *** around. there sort of rocket give boost. no in car. lets have 3 rocket shots burn 5 sec each. fighter use these anytime wanted in dog fight or quick burst slow fast speed. thought not know details if possible or if work. please fill me in. thanks.
