husband thinks cat converter said guessing based on sound. before going mechanic view on cost, etc, how long can safely drive car before needing see mechnanic , month ? 2 months ?when start cold car, super loud marbles-in-a-metal-jar-sound goes until car moving , then, sound goes away. second day exact same symptoms, etc. need save fix wanting know timeline ? 2 or 3 months ? until lose power or engine lights come on ? there short fix in meantime ? have mechanic , them (alot) want outside opinions. ps - love car, bought used in 2003, , take super care of her.
