choose character(s) fan of - whether visual media paintings, comics, films,...or music, books, etc.
think of how want depict - form, style, action, ....what changes want make - additions, deletions, modifications....
choose medium comfortable with. eg. painting, grafitti, costume-designing, 3-d, video, animation, cd, papercraft, collage/montage, quilting, embroidery, .....
collect materials & work!

make sure there no copyright violations & not doing commercial reasons.
