Why is it that Indians always seem to answer customer service?

seems whenever call company , try order or ask customer service, indian or asian answers, indians though. looking @ loads of prank calls online , lot of people hang if american picks , people saying waiting indian answer. on 1 forum other day , people talking how bad customer service , lot of people complaining foreign people, escecially indians answered , made hard understand. though me, seems happen lot.

why large percentage of people answer customer service indian? i'm not talking indian in ethnicity, mean lot of them seem indians india , have indian accents , everything. find kind of odd because makes me wonder why , how americans hiring people india customer service , not american. , it's not indians, other day had canadian answer. told me in conversation. , i'm talking american companies here, not foreign ones can't why. wonder if these people live in india, or have imigrated america , have accents?
