I love art, and I really want to start painting, but I can't draw to save my life?

ever since young, i've loved visiting art museums , admired how people create that, don't consider myself artist of kind. friend of mine in school working on papier mache crane incredibly amazing, , occurred me if tried, make too.

however, don't take art classes in school, , have no idea how go this.
