What are the best places to raise a family in New Hampshire?

nh great state expensive live there, @ least in parts.

southern part of state, coast expensive, nicest, in opinion. portsmouth, rye, newcastle, greenland great towns, , if money wasn't factor i'd live in of towns.

generally, more north go less expensive is, jobs more sparse , you'll have commute.

things nh are: healthy state, great schools, low crime, nice beaches, no sales tax, safe, scenic, 4 beautiful seasons.

things don't like: long, cold, snowy winters @ times, nice areas pricey, lots of yuppies, tourists, etc

ideally, if in budget, seacoast great place.

considering school system, job opportunities, small town atmosphere. we're looking small town that's close enough city commute. love scenic area. areas recommend experience? or stay away from?
