Two laptops for dual monitors?

hi.

use 2 laptops dual monitors. in, similar how use monitor , laptop , combine them, working on both monitors (as 1 working screen). 2 laptops. have no desktop monitors.

if helps, using acer , lg laptop, , both running windows os. acer running xp , lg running vista. affect anything?

guide, i'd using acer (windows xp), lg (vista) 2nd monitor.
