AMDA performing arts college, answers please?

ask question before there lots of detail in case, shorter. lve in bronx of ny , come low income family. neighborhood/place/where i'm in general consider poor social economic neighborhood. deny school due financial reasons? i'm senior in h.s.
been singing hobby since 8 years old , been writing songs. dont have great expereince in general, ppl think i'm singer , believe i'm ignorant of wanting pursue career not taken such lawyer, computer person, technology career, etc. love singing , it's thing can see myself doing. want singer ever since 8! broke fears , performed student written sketches in drama club. love thrilling feeling of performing, scared exciting. knowing ppl me awesome feeling if performing small sketch. know it's want want better , learn more there learn become great performer.
know places berklee, nyu, , julliard selective , need experience. i'm hoping amda different, though not consider best, far research it's school. think it's school. jason derulo graduated there , 1 of ppl works in children has graduated school. here negative stuff when reading forums or posts 3-5 years ago.
point is, chances? being delusional? accepted? 50/50 chance?
sang friends, in front of couple of classes in school, mother, drama teachers(obviously), , believe have natural talent. "gift" say.
hear in amda, accepted thats why im thinking....okay chances arent bad yet. work hard, work hard in do. i'm 1 of best students in class of 2011. though school consider "not good" either way im hard working person , if in school, work hard everyday , practice if can! want , more professional , in general want this. i'm doubting on lack of experience , i'm from. s please honest , tell me guys think of school today , chances are, please honest not rude. honest , critic. critic , rude 2 different words lol thanx :)
