Subaru WRX, check engine/cruise control lights. Is this going to cost a lot of money?

no 1 can give cost estimate on because of number of possible causes. wife's 2008 (51,000 miles) subaru outback did this: check engine , stability control lights on, cruise control light flashing. long-time (this not our first subie.) service adviser @ dealership looked @ lights , said "the check engine , cruise lights supposed happen. i'm not sure why stability control light on (there's switch shut off stability, not turn off light). 99 or more things."

next day when took in repair, of lights had gone off! minor oil control valve failing intermittently; diagnosis , repair under $200.

these lights came on randomly, , car took little warm , going, fluttering (not getting enough gas) got work. know numerous problems wanna know price range im looking spend, everyone
