Mazda starts and then stops?

replacing gasket near intake manifold of mazda 626 when turned car on there loud screech belt , car turned off. if engine revved screech stop let on gas engine quit again. engine seemed shaking quite bit well. had whole team of professional/retired mechanics looking @ none of them find problem. suggestions?
