Tattoo on stetchmarks?

rather reinvent wheel, i'll copy , paste answer provided else. apprenticed , have year of actual tattooing under belt, , scars , stretch marks teacher talked lot about. here posted earlier in week.

stretch marks type of scar , yes, scars can covered difficult , tedious process. also, if scar or stretch mark raised there indistinct area in tattoo
(where scar is) raised. below involved in covering stretch mark or scar.

time consuming. depending on individual's skin or scar texture, single line may require 2 or more passes needle before takes. artist heavy hand can cause more damage.

can , more painful average tattoo. scar tissue sensitive since nerve endings closer "new skin" (unless nerve ends destroyed when damage occurred).

once set within scar, stretch mark or graft tissue black stay. however, color bleed or fade skin. there slight possibility black may blot or run beneath tissue, if fine line used problem can virtually eliminated.

recommend clients wish have scar, stretch mark or graft tissue tattooed small tattoo within area first, test determine if skin accept pigment. then, if well, small tattoo can covered or incorporated when major
artwork applied.

last not least, important scar, stretch mark and/or graft tissue @ least 1 year old before tattooing attempted (the older scar, better). destroyed tissue takes long time heal, older scar, better take pigment.

remember, if stretch marks bad, run risk of making scar tissue stand out in tattoo, making odd. artist able assess severity of stretch marks , decide if can tattooed.
