How has philosophy shaped western civilization?

think lot, people here in western world live freely , close minded conforming society , doing see others do. think philosophy has impact of opening minds of others , exposing them power of mind, in essence shaping western civilization away being dull , things heck of it, question intelligently.

also, in art of argument, think philosophy plays major role in shaping people become thinkers, master logic , reason when developing argument, people here in western civilization talk big , argue nothing imagination, philosophy enhances them more well-reasoned.

in all, think philosophy has open minds of western civilization in making society think, every individual. sounds simple, western civilization isn't known bright according world.
