99 nissan maxima, misfire problem?

99 nissan maxima, smells lot gas , shakes , idles high when in gear, ran scanner on , says "random misfire", changed spark plugs bad. car still runs hard , shakes , smells gas bad.doesn't have it's full power , check engine light blinks.
