Laser printer toner cartridge refill questions?

buy laser printer not sure 1 should go with. main concern price of toner cartridge. new printer comes trial cartridge , not last long. new toner cost as printer itself. also, have 3 refill bottles bought earlier old hp laserjet 2100 printer. first question if there way can make use of those. second issue related called killer chip. found out internet of new printer comes chip counts number of copies printed toner , not let print anymore printer refilled. option left buying new printer.
can give me idea if can find printer not include such chip.
