2005 Pontiac Sunfire Speedometer Problem?

hi!


have no cable operate speedometer. electronic ( , not mean digital ! ) speed sensor not @ fault type of problem either!


have seen many many times in chevy , gmc , buick , pontiac etc vehicles. warranty cluster thru dealership!!

problem lies in speedometer cluster. these clusters made after 2000 have stepper motors drive gauges including speedometer ! tachometer , speedometer prone failure used most!

best have instrument cluster removed , repaired or replaced. junkyard replacement ok make sure guarantee.

pull @ least 1 cluster week , repair them same sort of problem!

charge $160 repair cluster plus shipping.

guarantee work 2 years.

when cold or hot outside gas gage or speedometer or both inaccurate. gas gage go 9 o"clock position?? can reset or needs replaced?
