Your thoughts on the Mazda Rx-8?

fun drive hard. supposed rev nuts off car - likes that. leather seats wear quicker i'd see clean cracks. stick shift has more power. gas mileage worse mileage of v8 mustang , eats oil (its supposed - nature of rotaries). on paper engine supposed weak in real life pulls hard 350z did (it's not fast in straight line 0-60 past they're pretty even). i'd 350z or mustang because it'll easier upkeep , parts cheaper because 2 cars sold lot better. use dino oil not synthetic. engine eats oil , won't crap in synthetic oils. friend puts little 2 stroke oil in gas tank. he's got way on 100k on minimal problems.

i'm looking @ buying mazda rx-8, round 2004-2005 model.
whats thoughts on them, worth it? , why?
