i'm wondering if light skin makes person more beautiful in philippines. seems everywhere go around philippines there commercials, billboards, ads, ect. promote skin whitening products.

culturally filipinos light skin whenever there miss universe pagent philippines representative not light skinned. also, when @ international models filipina models have brown skin. wondering if people in philippines feel light skin equates beauty or wealth?
