Pottery/Ceramics/Sculpture - Which do you suggest?

well- similar 3-d arts, here's differ:

ceramics- figurines made pouring clay mold , painting after it's first firing, though can go more sculpting clay depending on curriculum class like.
pottery- cups, pots, bowls, etc. (things thrown on wheel)
sculpture- uses different types of materials clay , marble , wire being famous types of material use, pretty type of material, including junk (things throw away), can used in sculpture.

graphic design degree, think sculpture best bet train eye seeing various objects around elements of design more ceramics , pottery would. should go , talk art professors @ college , see suggest well! they'd have more insight offered each class looking at.
