Printer - wireless network?

can share printer on windows network, long it's attached pc in network. here's step-by-step guide ms on how in xp:

easier , more reliable way this, however, through ip printing. if printer has embedded network card, can set local ip address , plug straight router. way, printer work on network without being slaved pc.

anyone know how "send printer" in wireless network? have pc , printer upstairs , laptop use downstairs. how set things can send things via laptop print upstairs? set @ 1 time, doesn't seem work anymore. thanx!!
