Boating/Camping Trip with Friends! ADVICE?!?

i'm 17 , last summer family bought speed boat. i've talked dad , said fine if went boating friends myself without adult on boat long legal. i've read have 16. live in california way. have drove boat quite bit , quite @ well. discussing friends going tubing during day, docking on shore somewhere , setting tents , camping out, no adults. once docked, having little bit of party (including alcohol). sleeping through night , hading in next day. please don't lecture me on underage drinking (i've never done before, choice, , deserve live little). other that, have advice or tips of things keep in mind or corrections if i'm wrong something.
