What is involved in car audio? im brand new to audio and i want to put a new system in my car.?

radio- brain of all. dont skimp here, recommend kenwood excelon.
subs- lows. go here depend if want clean sound or retardedly high amounts of bass.
speakers- mids , highs. stock speakers sound crap, aftermarket makes huge difference. if can afford go component set in front(separate tweeter , mid). go normal 2way/3way(tweeter , mid attached) in rear.
amp- muscle. powers subs, , if have money speakers. mono class d amp best subs. 4channel front , rear speakers. or can find 5channel, powers both speakers , sub in 1 amp save space.

covers main parts. have things wires , things that.

so need exactly, please run through dummy style, b/c when comes car audio that, dummy!
if matters have 2006 ford taurus
