How do you get colleges to advertise on your website?

colleges spend lot of money advertising. contact them phone know speaking right person. offer them 2 months of free ads on site. no obligation @ all. if happy layout charge them $100 per month. once impressed efforts, might pay $1,000 month large layout.

i'm thinking starting website college students , wondering how go getting schools pay advertising on site. email them, tell them site , offer them nice price place ad?
