thinking of looking @ 1997 subaru impreza outback wagon approx. 150,000 miles on it. called dealer , found has 2.2l engine, not infamous 2.5. snow getting winter, want can hubby work yet not difficult me drive (need auto trans-i disabled). reading head gasket problems subarus give 1 pause--not cheap repair!
