Volkswagen 1.8l turbo engine sludge problem?

1.8 motors same minor changes around base, ecu , breather systems accommodate particular model. sludge common problem junk oil penzoil , quakerstate. if worried run seafoam through , fresh oil change quality synthetic oil , plugs , worry free.

1.8 has never had problem this. more of user problem being cheap.

i bought 05 gti 1.8 turbo. have heard passats , audi a4's engine can suffer sludge problem gti's not affected. how possible? same engines.
