How do you manage aircraft with turbo engines?

thought rule out aircraft turbo charged engines. i've heard people wouldn't touch turbo , prone maintenance issues, shorter tbo's, , higher cost of overhaul. i've heard other arguments long manage turbo engine, still reliable engines.

please explain proper engine management means respect turbos. there articles out there can explain without having aircraft manual reference , read through? (as side note, these procedures typically laid out in operators manual?).

p.s. aircraft i'm looking turbo arrow i've read couple of articles indicating more difficult manage due lack of cowl flaps.
