So, how are the French and English getting along in Canada and are they still feuding?

cross-border shopping has introduction of hst, high taxes in canada, , better deals @ discount , outlet malls in usa. busiest border crossings shoppers in bc , ontario, not quebec. has nothing language issues.

feuds between french , english, still have problems in quebec. it's not big issue in past.

example, there recent story of family has send daughter school in usa because quebec government not allow go school in english here. (language of instruction dictated provincial governments, , in quebec illegal send kids english school if or @ least 1 parent not educated in english somewhere in canada.)

, bloc quebecois , parti quebecois still around pushing sovereignty issue. average quebecer doesn't deal these issues on streets. bonjour, order our food @ restaurants, , discuss canadiens hockey each other, french and/or english.

i hear had 18% sales tax ten years agon , property taxes high , many of them close drive gas stations there buy gas.
