Would I have to study Performing Arts (Drama) if I would like to become a broadcast (news) journalist?

think i'd need if i'd become broadcast journalist (news reader)? because once filmed myself reading news , had feedback, , have not studied drama. reason why, absolutely awful @ acting.

thing i'm @ putting on different voices lol. i've got clear voice too.
