How to choose an art school?

i'm senior in high school , want apply @ least 6 colleges before winter break.
i'm 3d modeling , animation , know little computer network designing.

networking design teacher advices me moraine valley community college , associates degree instead of getting art degree. reason getting art school expensive , art schools don't guarantee job after graduate college/university. moraine valley specializes in computer networking , cost less $10k degree. said should associate's degree art school if don't networking careers.

should follow teacher's advice? or have similar suggestion art careers? (suggest art college isn't there take our money , care less after graduation.)
