Comprehensive vs. Liberal Arts?

universities offer liberal studies program, can same sort of curriculum @ liberal arts college. different liberal arts colleges different. many based on "great books" curriculum, study classics of literature, science, history , mathematics, rather modern methods. others have 1 major, "liberal arts," studies wide range of courses, can take courses want. comprehensive university has "majors," meaning can go university , major in: say: engineering, mathematics, education, psychology or liberal arts. many bachelor's degrees @ either require graduate studies job training.

is comprehensive university's curriculum same liberal arts college curriculum?
